Stormbreaker Axe DIY Project
In this project Brainfoo TV made this full size replica Thor' Stormbreaker Axe by cold-casting resin and aluminium powder.
You can find the full video detailing how this project was completed on the Brainfoo website and it covers using a 3D print for the design, making a silicone mould using CS25 Condensation cure silicone rubber, cold-casting the part using Xencast P6 fast-cast resin and aluminium powder and finally finishing the project by adding the handle, decorating it with rope and distressing the overall look to produce this impressive piece!
Brainfoo were very happy with the end result considering it was the first time using the materials and techniques.
